Bishopsgate Pictures

I took these photos in May '97 at Paul's televised Town Hall Meeting in London.

Paul Arrives Paul's blue Mercedes (license plate 900MPL) pulls up at Bishopsgate.
Closeup Paul Paul looks relaxed and happy to see the crowd.
London Friends Friends gather to wait for Sir Paul's autograph.
Lipa Scruffs Fans who follow Paul's every move wait in the sunshine for a glimpse or a smile from him. Swaying to the boombox music of Flaming Pie, his new album, they are rewarded with a brief appearance before the start of the show.
Geoff Baker and Paul Freundlich Publicists for Paul share a moment outside The Flaming Toad where the American trip winners are being entertained.
Profile of John Fugelsang Paul's interviewer at The Town Hall Meeting.
John Fugelsang and Regina Burch We had time to chat for a few minutes outside The Flaming Toad pub after I interviewed John for Beatlebrunch syndicated radio show. He's a friendly guy!
Paul leaves Bishopsgate. Paul enters the courtyard eating peanuts. Geoff Baker, Paul and Linda's publicist is on the left.
Paul heads toward his car. Paul heads toward his car which is driven by John Hammel, his roadie.
Theatretrain The crew at Bishopsgate reported hearing Paul talk about a group of children who are singing Beatles songs at Bishopsgate. This youth group is performing to build a children's theatre in the East End of London and may be the group Paul was referring to.
Advert for Theatretrain This is an ad for Theatretrain, a worthy charity, but one that Paul may or may not be involved in.
MPL Office A definite tourist attraction, Paul's business offices are quite security-minded. Since I had interviewed Geoff Baker, I was allowed inside. Huge gorgeous paintings line the walls, and there was an intriguing collage of Beatles and family pictures. I was allowed to touch but not allowed to photograph.

New Jersey Beatlefest Pictures

Regina with Neil Innes Neil was Ron Nasty in The Rutles. He wrote all the Rutles songs and many of the Monty Python musical skits. He also appeared in Magical Mystery Tour with The Beatles.
Old yet new friends Margaret, Regina, and Spy (John) meet for the first time in person but they're old friends on the 'net.
Beatlefest gang Macca list internet buddies finally meet for the first time in person.
Neil Innes Neil's still got that great voice!
Denny Laine Grit radio interviews Denny about his 2 new albums.
Celebrity panel Denny Laine, Tony Bramwell (producer of many of The Beatles films such as Strawberry Fields Forever and Penny Lane), Neil Innes, Louise Harrison (George's big sister), and Lawrence Juber (former Wings lead guitarist) discuss old and new Beatles topics.
..."boxers or briefs?" Denny answers the burning question about Paul's apparel for me. "You know it's none of your business!" he chided before he answered, "briefs!" Ha! Ha!
